I know this is a bit off topic, but I was browsing around the internet post-Christmas feast and happened upon these great old gun ads. It reminds me a lot of “A Christmas Story” and the famous bb gun the little guy had in the film. I love that these ads really show a different face to the gun-owner—it’s smiling kids, and families; it’s about a shooting and hunting ritual with the family; it’s a very wholesome act and a wholesome Christmas gift. Times have changed, that’s for sure, but your attitude towards guns and the teaching lessons that you are able to communicate to your family through hunting are still the same.
